SS 3/6 Sarsjöliden Friday 09:31 & 15:54

This stage, which on the second run finishes the rally as the points-earning Power Stage, begins with a longer fast section over open fields and through farmyards, before entering a forest section that leads to the road change in Gullbäck. Here it’s important to find the brake point before the angle to the right, where the stage continues on a wide, fast road downhill before the angle. Onwards to a fast village road towards the next road change in Brännfors, where the stage runs over open fields with distance views for the spectators, before the cars come to the narrow bridge over the river Tvärån, where it’s very narrow and hilly around the bridge. After the bridge, the road becomes wider and faster again towards the road change in Tväråbäck. After the road change comes the fastest section of the stage, where the cars get to go flat out before the road change in Önskanäs. The last part of the route goes through forest areas and over open fields on a fast village road before the finish at Fällfors. After the second and final run, the Power Stage podium will be ready for the five fastest cars.

Spectator Area 2 – Gullbäck

At the spectator area in Gullbäck, the cars cross several open fields and farmyards, before reaching a tricky angle right onto a far smaller rally road through the pine forest.

Spectator Area 3 – Brännfors

At Brännfors is the next tricky angle right, this time on a far wider road. As the course is steep downhill here, this can be a tough section to get right. This large spectator area, which offers plenty of space and good distance views, continues past a farm and on towards the narrow bridge. Note: Spectators are not allowed to cross the bridge!

  • Field parking
  • Food sales, Toilets

Spectator Area 4 – Tväråbäck

If you want to see some really high speeds across the farm, take a short walk from the car park to see cars going flat out, before reaching the junction that marks the end of the spectator area. Note: The finish line cannot be reached on foot from the spectator path, as there is a water protection area close to the rally course between Tväråbäck and Önskanäs.

Spectator Area 5 – Önskanäs

The spectator area in Önskanäs offers plenty of parking close to the rally course, which again angles right, but this time quickly followed by a steep uphill, so it’s key to gather and maintain momentum up the slope.

Spectator Area 6 – Fällfors

Here, just before the finish of this year’s Power Stage, the stage once again crosses open fields and copses on fast village road. Just after the finish line is where the Power Stage podium will be, where the fastest drivers will be awarded their WRC points for SS19.
