Finnish sisu and a Swedish hero

The best days of the year are over. A weekend of fantastic rallying has come to an end.

New car, new team – old champion.
Jari-Matti Latvala was on another level on the final day of Rally Sweden.

Winning all three stages, including the Power Stage where he just needed to “take it easy” to secure the win, is nothing short of one hell of a statement.
The Finnish sisu was unbreakable this time and he showed everyone that he is back. For real.

Big congrats to Jari-Matti, Toyota GAZOO Racing and old Finnish champion Tommi Mäkinen on an incredible performance.

Equally strong in WRC2 was home hero, Pontus Tidemand.
Being on a level of his own all weekend he, in comparison to Latvala, did take it easy, making sure no mistakes were made on the final day.
A dream come true, finally winning that rally that he has dreamed about all of his life.
This victory will be celebrated here in Sweden, that is for sure.

Big Congrats to Pontus, EVEN Management and Skoda on an equally impressive performance.

The best days of the year are over.
Next year we do at all over again.
We just love this.

See you all back in 2018!
