This is where the action unfolds. Just a stone’s throw away, a leisurely stroll, or a short ride on the free buses from Umeå city centre. At the I20 area, you’ll find WRC’s newest and hottest arena, perfect for beginners, enthusiasts, and hardcore rally fans alike. Here is where Thursday’s opening ceremony takes place and all competition days conclude with spectacular jumps and high-speed straights – no matter where you stand, you’ll be able to follow the rally, the speed, and the stars from just a car’s length away. Enjoy the hottest atmosphere with food courts, VIP stands, DJ:s and live music. This is the place to experience the World Rally Championship, a party, and a family festival.

Saturday 14 September

In the afternoon, all eyes turn to The Red Barn Arena, where the official program and a real family festival begin with presentations, line-ups, and autograph sessions with the top teams. Food courts and restaurant tents open, featuring live music and a grand opening ceremony. The day concludes with the finish of the first special stage, SS1 Umeå Sprint.

Saturday 14 September

The Red Barn Arena is open all day featuring live music, daily stages on large screens with live commentary, restaurant tents, food courts, and VIP areas. The day’s competitions conclude here, and the cars will pass by during the day for regrouping.

Enjoy live broadcasts from the day’s stages, live performances, and exciting food and drinks in restaurant tents and food courts. There will also be an award ceremony and tribute to the winners in the historic class before the day’s concluding stages finish on the premises. Then the party continues in the restaurant tent with DJ´s and live band until late into the night.

Saturday 14 September

The time of reckoning has come. A winner is to be crowned, and it happens on Sunday’s three final stages. The last stage, Power Stage, with extra World Championship points for the fastest five, finishes at The Red Barn Arena, where the podium and award ceremony await. The food court and the fair with activities and exhibitors are open for a family-filled day, offering a chance to get close to drivers and cars.

Rally and winter festivities aren’t just about cars; they’re also about food and drinks. And, of course, this applies to The Red Barn Arena as well. Cafés, hot dogs, Mexican cuisine, Thai food, hamburgers, churros, gyros, and local favourites. These are just a few of the culinary delights you’ll find in our food courts and other eateries strategically placed around the arena. Good food, warm and cold drinks from local entrepreneurs, and whenever possible, local ingredients give you a taste of the region and add a touch of class to the rally celebration.

From 9:00 PM in the After Rally tent Thursday to Saturday, Sebastian Swahn provides the music and ensures the party keeps going.

Adam Woods

“Supernatural” from the first heat in Malmö, so now fans must once again keep their fingers crossed for Heat 5, Mars 2. His career gained momentum after his debut in Mello 2023, alongside Jon Henrik Fjällgren and Arc North. Through several successful collaborations, he has secured his place in the Swedish dance scene. In addition to Mello, a series of releases await later this year.

Perhaps we’ll get a taste of this at the opening of the World Rally on The Red Barn Arena at 5:30 pm on Thursday, February 15. Join us!

Maxida Märak

Maxida Märak has entered the public arena with a bang. Few can have missed her frequent presence on playlists and live stages. She produces hip-hop in a unique and innovative way where Sápmi is always the norm. She blends hard rap, catchy refrains, and heavy electronic beats with her magical yoik, something very few in the world have experimented with before.

On Friday, February 16, at 6:00 pm, she takes the stage at The Red Barn Arena. Don’t miss it.

Paw Patrol

Ryder and PAW Patrol must help Mayor Goodway organize a talent show in the city of Adventure Bay. She really needs the help of PAW Patrol, and it’s URGENT! They come up with the paw-some idea to perform their puppy boogie and get the audience involved. The entire audience is activated with cheers and dances, and volunteer children are invited on stage to dance along. The show is built around speech, song, dance, and joy.

The whole family is welcome, and children up to twelve enter for free with an adult. Welcome to The Red Barn Arena at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 17.

Easy to find the way

If you want, you have most things within walking distance. It’s just a short walk from the city centre to The Red Barn Arena or Umeå Service Park Nolia and Support Arena. Alternatively, you can hop on the city buses that run shuttle services between the centre and the Arena. During the competition days, you can ride for free on the local buses, Ultra, with your Rally ticket.
