Stage Event in Brännfors has, in a short time, become a natural gathering point for rally fans in Västerbotten. This year, the event is held for the third consecutive year on the classic Sarsjöliden stage, which will be run twice on Saturday: at 11:05 a.m. and 4:05 p.m.
Ahead of this year’s race, spectators can look forward to a full day packed with activities for both young and old. In addition to the action on stage, fans will be able to follow the competition on a large screen, ensuring no one misses a moment, regardless of where they are in the venue. For those who want to capture and share the experience, a dedicated photo wall will also be available, allowing rally memories to be preserved and shared.
The venue will also feature VIP tents, where Hotel Vännäs will host partners with food and beverages. At the same time, Vännäs Municipality offers a wide range of activities, including sledding and a mini funfair featuring “Magic Pepe” from Bjurholm.
– We have a solid programme that is well worth visiting. There is something for everyone, and it is also a stage where spectators can follow the rally drivers for a long distance past the venue.”
says Adam Pihlgren, Arena Coordinator, Rally Sweden.
What does it really take to create a rally stage and an event that attracts both die-hard enthusiasts and new audiences? The answer can still be found in Brännfors. The small village, with just four farms and three permanent residents, has developed into a vibrant rally hub where the overall experience takes centre stage – far beyond the competitive action alone.
The Sarsjöliden stage is strategically located close to Blå Vägen, yet remains well separated from the through traffic on the E12. The village of Brännfors has become an ideal location for spectator events. The local Red Barn area, centred around the iconic red barn, once again serves as the heart of the event, offering VIP tents, food service, bus parking,, and ample parking – making the experience both smooth and spectator-friendly.
