Bag Ban and Security Checks

Am I allowed to bring a bag into Red Barn?
No, you are not allowed to bring any bag into Red Barn. There are two exceptions to this ban: diaper bags (if you have a child up to 3 years old) and bags for medical needs.
If you have a bag for medical needs, it must be appropriately sized for its intended contents and as small as possible. The bag may only contain medication and medical equipment.

But can I bring a handbag?
No, this ban applies to all bags. (A wallet is not considered a bag.)

Why have you decided to implement a bag ban?
It is the police who set the requirements for us. In this case, there is a nationwide decision regarding this matter, and we must comply with that requirement.

I have brought a bag to Red Barn. What should I do with it?
It is your own responsibility to take care of your bag. If you choose to leave your bag outside the arena, it will be taken into custody and handed over to the police as lost property after the rally has ended.

I will be taking a bus directly from the rally forest and will be bringing a bag. What should I do?
In that case, you should contact the bus operator you are traveling with, and they can advise you.

Don’t you understand that this becomes complicated if one is not allowed to bring a bag?
We understand that it is inconvenient not to be able to bring a bag inside. However, these are the requirements set by the police for us to be allowed to host the event. If you need to bring along an extra pair of gloves or an extra sweater, you may carry them in your hand or in a pocket—but you cannot bring a bag.

I have a camera bag. Surely I can bring that in?
If you are a visitor, you are not allowed to bring a bag for your camera. You may bring the camera itself, but not the bag.

Do I have to undergo a security check to enter Red Barn?
In order for you to enter Red Barn, we conduct what is known as a conditional security check. This means that a security check is a requirement for entry. This is mandated by the police.

Will I, as a woman, be searched by a man?
We will have both male and female staff conducting the security checks.

I do not want to be searched. Will I still be allowed to enter?
Unfortunately, the security check is a condition for entry. This is a requirement set by the police.
