This is where it all happens. Just a stone’s throw away – a calm walk or a short ride on the free shuttle buses from Umeå city center. At the I20 area, you’ll find WRC’s newest and hottest arena – perfect for beginners, enthusiasts, and die-hard rally fans alike.
Here, Thursday’s opening ceremony takes place, and every competition day ends with spectacular jumps and high-speed action. No matter where you stand, you’re always close to the rally, the speed, and the stars – just a car length away.
This is the place where you experience the World Rally Championship – a celebration and a family festival.
On Thursday afternoon, all attention turns to Red Barn Arena, where the official event kicks off with activities and experiences for visitors of all ages. In the evening, the rally is officially inaugurated, followed by the first stage, which finishes at Red Barn Arena.
Thursday also features this year’s Rally VIP After Work for those who have purchased Rally VIP with AW. Enjoy world-class rally in great company, with food, drinks, and live entertainment by Over & Out, performing from 20:00 to 22:00.

Watch today’s stages on the big screen and experience the rally like never before. Enjoy great food and drinks in the restaurant tents and food area while the rally elite tackle some of the most spectacular stages. In the evening, you’ll also get to see the cars live on site—an adrenaline-filled experience the whole family can enjoy.
Family activities take place on Saturday between 13.00 and 16.00 and offer something for everyone. Children can try a quad bike, and visitors can try a small excavator. There will also be competitions and a candy drop. Free hamburgers and soft drinks will be served for children under 12, and there will be a traditional Sami tent with an open fire on site.

It all comes down to this. Sunday’s final stages will decide who takes the win. The last stage, the Power Stage, awards extra championship points to the five fastest drivers and finishes at Red Barn Arena, where the podium and prize-giving ceremony will take place.
The food area and exhibition area, with activities and exhibitors, will be open for a fun and engaging day for the whole family.

If you want, you have most things within walking distance. It’s just a short walk from the city centre to The Red Barn Arena or Umeå Service Park Nolia. Alternatively, you can hop on the city buses that run shuttle services between the centre and the Arena. During the competition days, you can ride for free on the local buses, Ultra, with your Rally ticket.
