Live Power Stage changes day three

When the English television people visited Sweden to check the stage that was chosen to be the premiere Power Stage in the WRC-series, they found out that the very stage that the organiser had planned was not an ideal one from a filming point of view.

What to do? – Well, within a few hours the organiser had changed the order of the stages, made one stage longer than before, taken one stage away and added a completely new one, Gustavsfors. And the name of the stage Hamra, the stage that had been a longer one, was switched into Torntorp, a very familiar name for rally spectators.

So – Malta was erased and had turned into Gustavsfors. And in fact it is not quite true that Gustavsfors is a new stage, but it is more than twenty years since the stage was used before.
