Parmander returns to rallying

Swede Staffan Parmander is back in WRC business again. He is one of the most experienced Swedish co drivers ever, and now 53 years old, he is back again in top rallying. He will co drive one of the young and hot Swedes, Patrik Sandell in a Skoda Fabia S2000.

Parmander is most well known after his and Kenneth Eriksson´s successes during 14 World Rally Championship seasons. They were total winners of five WRC-rallies but in 2001 Parmander retired from the rally sport. At least that was his ambition.

A phone call from Patrik Sandell changed everything and from now on he is the new co driver in his team.

-Considering my age I am flattered, Parmander says.

In fact he never let rally go definitely. He has been working with Patrik Sandell and his former co driver Emil Axelsson with pace notes among other things.

– My ambition is to create a positive atmosphere in the car and I will bring my experience from mine and Kenneth Eriksson years, helping Patrik to find a new level in rallying.
