Finnish fight after seven stages

It’s a real fight between the two Finnish drivers Jari-Matti Latvala (pictured) and Mikko Hirvonen which differ only 1.1 seconds to Hirvonen’s advantage after seven special stages.

Eight-fold world champion Sebastien Loeb would probably rather forget second time around on the short-distance Kirkenær (SS7) when he visited a snow bank and lost nearly 2 minutes. Third in the rally is Mads Østberg 19.1 seconds after, 4th are Petter Solberg 25.2 seconds after and 5th is Dani Sordo 33.9 seconds after Hirvonen.

On Friday it now remains three routes. Second time around in Finnskogen (SS8), Torsby (SS9) and SSS Karlstad on Färjestadtravet (SSS10) tonight.
