Four Østfold drivers in Rally Sweden

No counties in the world will be able to cope with Østfold in the WRC class at this year’s Rally Sweden that run both in Norway and Sweden. After Eyvind Brynildsen has changed his class to WRC it makes no less than four Østfold drivers in Ford Fiesta WRC in the second round of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship powered by Nokia.

Eyvind Brynildsen from Våler Østfold has made an agreement with Adapta AS, which is built around the neighbor Mads Østberg, and set with a full Ford Focus WRC in the Norwegian / Swedish Rally February 9-12. Brynildsen was originally signed up with a Skoda Fabia S2000, but it has been approved class changed.

With the brothers Petter and Henning Solberg (pictured) from Spydeberg and Mads in addition, it is thus a powerful Østfold team that makes the start in Karlstad Thursday February 9 and on stages running around Kongsvinger the day after. Of the 21 WRC drivers standing start is therefore close to one fifth out of Østfold.
