Still no decision on the TV issue

Svenska Rallyt AB is still busy working to secure a global TV-production from Rally Sweden February 9 – 12. Final decision will be presented at a press conference later this afternoon. The press conference will be held at the Press Center at Rally HQ, Elite Stadshotellet in Karlstad. Time will be informed later today.

First there was a deadline 12.00 to take a decision in this matter.

– But the Finnish production company Filmworks has given us three more hours, the CEO Glenn Olsson declares.

There has been business and negotiations with lots of TV-companies all around the world since Friday last week when the international organisation FIA, handed over the TV-rights to Svenska Rallyt AB.

-If we won´t get the economic resources that we need for the international TV-production, we have to concentrate on the production for Sweden and Norway. We feel that it is our duty as the organizer not to let our sponsors down.
