This spectator area was also present last year, but this year, you can only reach it by snowmobile. The rally cars quickly descend to a road intersection with a left/right combination. Very good spectator spots before the road junction on heights near the road.
    Long view.

    Bergtjärnen Close

Here, the rally cars pass over several crests and continue downhill to a tricky right turn on a beautiful forest road. If you have a snowmobile, these are places where you can see the rally cars at high speed from good spectator spots on smaller heights along the stage.

  • 2
    Rönnliden Close

The absolute best spectator area on the stage. Here, the cars come over a small crest with a slight left turn on their way down to the village of Rönnliden, to turn right in the hairpin curve and continue past the houses in the village and along Välvsjön. The audience will stand on the inside and experience rally cars driving almost around them. A spectator area with a very long view through the village.

Stage description Stage description

Stage Botsmark from last year has received a new ending and a new name. The stage begins with a fast forest road and passes through several sections where the driver and co-driver must navigate accurately to maintain speed for the continuation of the stage. After the stage turns left and enters the newly created rally road for the year, you reach Rönnliden with a large spectator area, where the audience can witness the cars in a passage downhill towards a hairpin right before accelerating further around Välvsjön. Here, the stage consists of a fast village road before the rally cars reach SA 3, where the character of the stage truly changes, transitioning to a narrow and technical rally road with several crests and curves. Note that there is no spectator parking at the finish!

Safety information Safety information

Snowmobile – stay on the trail. All snowmobile traffic should stay on the trails within the competition area, and all ”free riding” must be avoided. Wild animals and reindeers can be frightened and run towards the rally stages.

Safety Areas. It is important where you as a spectator stand and walk. Stages can be cancelled immediately if you don’t respect the safety areas!

Don’t walk! It is forbidden to walk on the stage within 30 minutes of the stage start.

No Drone Zone. Unauthorized drones are prohibited for security reasons.

Look for the Green Light. The WRC-cars feature hybrid electric powertrains, that can generate high-voltage electrical current due to a crash or other incident. Before touching the car, look for the green light, only this shows that the car is safe.
