Shortly after the start, the cars encounter a hairpin right turn within a birch grove. It's crucial to find the right braking point as the hairpin is located on a downhill slope, and after the hairpin, the road ascends. There are good spectator spots both before and after the turn.

Stage description Stage description

This stage is a new addition to Rally Sweden but is one of the most renowned rally stages in Västerbotten. It has hosted the Swedish Rally Championship (SM) since the early '90s. The stage incorporates everything from speed, technical and narrow sections to spectacular jumps. The start is in the village of Hössjö, followed shortly by a road change where drivers head towards the Skogs Nolia area, Rosetten, a spectator area with large open fields but also technically demanding sections. Shortly after, there is another road change leading to a very fast section through the villages of Håknäs and Mobäck. After Mobäck, another road change awaits, and the drivers enter the most technical area, beginning with a wrongly dosed curve with a narrow bridge over a stream. In the middle of this section, the cars jump onto a field, followed shortly by another road change in the village of Bergnäs. Then, there's another fast section with undulating curves that concludes with a road change leading up Hössjöberget. Once on top of the mountain, a technically demanding road change and a faster section await until they turn down the mountain and face a technical and jumpy portion until reaching the finish line in Kallhögen.

Safety information Safety information

Snowmobile – stay on the trail. All snowmobile traffic should stay on the trails within the competition area, and all ”free riding” must be avoided. Wild animals and reindeers can be frightened and run towards the rally stages.

Safety Areas. It is important where you as a spectator stand and walk. Stages can be cancelled immediately if you don’t respect the safety areas!

Don’t walk! It is forbidden to walk on the stage within 30 minutes of the stage start.

No Drone Zone. Unauthorized drones are prohibited for security reasons.

Look for the Green Light. The WRC-cars feature hybrid electric powertrains, that can generate high-voltage electrical current due to a crash or other incident. Before touching the car, look for the green light, only this shows that the car is safe.
