SS 13: Hirvonen in the lead

After the second time around on Lesjöfors and Sågen (SS 12 and SS 13) the race is even tighter, when overall leader Mikko Hirvonen first subtracting Mads Østberg by more than 12 seconds on the SS 12, only to lose as much on the SS 13 and Hirvonen now has lead of 0.6 seconds ahead of the Norwegian with Jari-Matti Latvala as a new third 20.9 seconds behind. Petter Solberg is now fourth in the race, but only a measly seconds from the podium. What a contest we will see!

Årets upplaga av Rally Sweden utvecklar sig till en riktig rysare, med fyra förare inom 45 sekunder efter elva av 22 specialsträckor. På den 15,42 kilometer långa Värmullsåsen (SS 11) fick också Mads Østberg lämna över förstaplatsen till Mikko Hirvonen som var 0,7 sekunder snabbare på sträckan och nu leder med 0,3 sekunder.

This year’s Rally Sweden is developing into a real thriller, with four drivers within 45 seconds after eleven of the 22 special stages. On the 15.42 km long Värmullsåsen (SS11) was also Mads Østberg hand over first place for Mikko Hirvonen, who was 0.7seconds faster on the stage and now leads by 0.3 seconds.

Rallyt totaltrea Petter Solberg vann den första vändan över Sågen-sträckan och tog in ytterligare fyra sekunder på landsmannen och totalledaren, Mads Østberg. Och bakom ledaren Østberg haverade finländaren Mikko Hirvonen återigen avståndet och är nu mindre än fyra sekunder efter som totaltvåa.

The rally third overall Petter Solberg won the first run over the Sågen-stage and took another four seconds on his countryman and overall leader, Mads Ostberg.
